Allen Shangai a popular Donhodzo man has purchased a kombi much to the delight of many Ward 15, Goromonzi folks who hailed it as a positive development for a man who has had a string of sad events around his life.
Hoplaz as he is known at Donhodzo Chishawasha, lost his enterprising wife in a sad traffic road accident in 2018 along Enterprise road.
In 2021 his first born died in unclear circumstances when he was found hanging at their home with lips torn, a sad story that shocked the restive community.
But indeed Hopito is a happy man and said people look down upon him but the development is a result of hard work.
“Play hard, work hard, drink hard and eat hard thus my story.
“I know people look down upon me and say all sort of words but I work hard for my life and today bought this kombi.
“I had two children, a boy and a girl but I lost my son, its sad I know, especially for my daughter and am sure they will enjoy with her husband, these are the people I work for.
“I am going to buy another engine for a kombi that is at home and indeed all this is for my family,” said Sir Manato as he is also known.
Asked to comment about love life Hopito said, “I was saddened by the death of my wife who died with a boy friend. I almost killed my self but any way thus the story of the past i now have a lover but not yet married, its more than 2 years now but I am sure will marry her soon, ” he said.
He concluded by saying it was sad his first wife is no longer there and my daughter is set to wed.
The development in the life of Shangai is indeed good news and being celebrated by the Donhodzo community.
