The Member of Parliament for Chikomba East, Honourable Felix Tapiwa Mhona, is scheduled to hold his third celebratory rally in his constituency first week of April.
Co-ordinator in Honourable Mhona’s office, Cde Lovemore Masunungure, announced that Honorable Mhona will be visiting the 3rd cluster in the first week of April.
“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Honourable Felix Tapiwa Mhona plans to meet with the cluster at Duvhurwi in the first week of April.
“During his visits, he typically brings empowerment projects for women, such as distributing chicks and feed.
These initiatives aim to support women in their economic endeavors and promote self-reliance,” said Masunungure.
Masunungure added that it is expected that the chairladies in the Gokomere, Nharira, Duvhurwi, Rare, Lancashire, and Madamombe areas will have their groups prepared.
“We are expecting chairladies from the areas of Gokomere, Nharira, Duvhurwi, Rare, Lancashire, and Madamombe to prepare their respective groups in anticipation of Honourable Felix Tapiwa Mhona’s upcoming visit in the first week of April. I am sure judging from the previous celebrations in Manyanga and Mudawarima the respective chairpersons will also get their chicks,” he said.
Asked to comment on some comments relating to why the MP is empowering Chairpersons who openly did not support him during primary elections Masunungure said Hon Mhona has a unique character.
“I would want to tell you the truth that Hon Mhona is unique and am sure it had much to do with both his character and upbringing. He does not believe that there was anyone who was against him during the General elections. During primary elections yes people had to make choices and thank God he prevailed in an in-house political contest but after the primaries every one from the party backed him resulting in the President His Excellency Cde Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa winning as well as him and all the 14 councillors.
“Thus in his view everyone worked hard for Zanu PF to win and there is no way he can pick some chairpersons in other district and leave others, its unheard of in his way of operating,” said Masunungure.
The last cluster will consist of Masasa, Rukovere, Wilshire HQ, Mhaka, and Mahusvu.
The dates for the celebrations in that cluster will be made public at a later time.
