The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development held its 6th Session of the Line Minister’s Public Entities Corporate Governance Oversight Meeting from 18 November to 21 November in Mutare.
The workshop, in accordance with Section 33(4) of the Public Entities Corporate Governance Act, is designed solely to monitor the progress of public entities, assess their objectives, conduct, plans, and ensure compliance with their strategic plans to promote good corporate governance.
The Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development Hon Mhona highlighted that the public entities should not be limited to holding AGMs but they have to shift their focus to result orientated goals.

He highlighted that as a Ministry they remain guided by the bold transformative leadership of His Excellency the President of Zimbabwe Dr E. D Mnangagwa.
“As we engage, we should applaud the Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde. Dr. E.D.
