Dumisani Mpofu, former Warriors and Caps United defender predicts a tough match as Caps United and Dynamos clash this Sunday.
City rivals Caps United and Dynamos will clash in the week 12 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, at the ceremonial home of football, Rufaro Stadium, this Sunday.
the first clash since the stadium`s reopening has attracted interest from soccer fans across the country, especially in Harare.
Dumisani Mpofu who fought several battles against Dynamos at Rufaro believes the game will be difficult.
“We are waiting for the derby tomorrow, we are green through and through and we wish Caps United to win.
“We hope the game will be entertaining, but when it comes to derbies sometimes it goes down to mere luck on the day and not form.
“We wish Caps United will be the lucky team and we will win come Sunday,” said Dumisani Mpofu.
Meanwhile the Harare City Council has planned to Fix large screens at Rufaro so as to ensure that fans watch the Final English Premier League matches of the season.
The Caps, Dynamos match will definitely end at 5PM and thus the time the EPL matches will start.
There is likely going to be delays for the fans to go and watch matches elsewhere, hence the plan to provide TVs at the stadium.
Beer outlets will also be opened at the stadium.
Meanwhile, the cheapest ticket has been pegged at $5.
Dynamos are rapidly becoming specialists in drawing matches in the league, and they hope to break the jinx come Sunday at Rufaro.
Inform Caps United won against Yadah last week courtesy of a William Manondo 92nd minute strike and they hope to win the derby.
