Hon Min Felix Tapiwa Mhona, the Member of Parliament for Chikomba East Constituency, actively continues to implement various projects for the benefit of the people in his constituency.
Speaking at the Thank You Rally in Wazvaremhaka, Hon Mhona emphasized his commitment to continue without stopping.
“In terms of projects we will not stop but we will continue and these projects are meant to empower the people of Chikomba, so I urge you all not destroy these projects but let it be your starting point,” he said.
At the Wazvaremhaka celebration he donated 2500 chicks and poultry feeds to sustain the chicks up to maturity.
“Today we have come with 2500 chicks and after they have matured for sale you are able to sell each chicken for 6 dollars and this will immensely sustain us all as a constituency and our families,” he said.
He went on and said that he will keep on sending the VID team to come and train the youth to be able to obtain drivers license in their respective constituencies.
“We will continue sending the VID teams so that our youth get drivers licenses, they used to come to Sadza, Nharira but now there are also in Chivhu.”
Hon Mhona added that, “We are also looking at roads from our rural districts Council and we will send graders and bulldozers which will be used in constructing new roads,” he said.
Hon Mhona commended His Excellency President Mnangagwa for his vision which is enabling different projects to be successful in the constituency.
“I would like to acknowledge the work done by the President Dr Emmerson D Mnangagwa who is working with vision 2030 which entails an upper middle class by 2030, so these are the projects we are doing in line with this vision.
“The President has promised to install solar powered Borehole in the 35 000 villages across the country and a community gardens which will self sustain people in the rural areas during this drought period,” he said.
Hon Mhona ernerstly thanked the Zanu PF supporters for voting tremendously and electing him as the member of Parliament for Chikomba East, councilors and the party as a whole.
“I would like to extend my gratitude to you all for immensely voting for the party, electing me as the member of the parliament and our councilors. It is important to remember people who elected you and it is also not a joke to be elected as a Minister out of 210 members of Parliament but it is by grace and hard work, “he said.
Speaking on the same event Councilor Dhikinya applauded Hon Mhona for his tireless effort towards his constituency even after being elected.
“As council in Chikomba we will continue working and supporting you because of the wonderful work ethics you possess,” he said.
Hon Mhona managed to purchase bicycles for all the Herdsman in his constituency, start up the mukando projects for women by giving them 1000usd in each district, start up the goat pass on projects for the youth and the pioneer of poultry projects in Chikomba which have immensely benefited women in the constituency.
The Thank you Rally at Wazvaremhaka was attended by 6 Chiefs, Chief Musarurwa, Chief Mutekedza, Chief Kareya, Chief Neshangwe, Chief Chivase and Chief Nyoka.
